Pucker Up this international Kissing day

International Kissing Day is an annual event that celebrates the soul tingling, smile making, heart flutter emotions that a good pucker up brings. There are so many different types of kisses; for those who love the sensuality that comes with kissing, a long slow tongue wrestle is perfect. For those who prefer a quick friendly gesture; peck on the lips or cheek is quite adequate. Whatever you prefer, kissing is a great way to share love and make someone feel special. So, if you haven’t shown your friends, family or lover boy just how much you love them recently, why not remind them this International Kissing Day by locking lips!

International Kissing day was established in 2006 and is celebrated on July 6th every year. The idea behind the International Kissing Day is to remind people of the simple pleasures a kiss can bring. It’s not merely a formality…it’s part of our society, and brings together people from all walks of life. Everyone has the ability to share a kiss, so why not celebrate this and remind people how awesome a kiss can be.

Events are organized all over the world to celebrate International Kissing Day for both those who have partners and for those seeking. Kiss-in’s let you test drive a potential dates lips before you even hook up with them for an actual date, and kissing classes help you learn how to become an amazing kisser!

Kisses can come from anyone and it’s not unusual to be greeted in a professional situation with a peck on the cheek…one on each if you’re from Europe! Did you know that 55% of people over the age of 45 are locking lips at least 31 times a week. We’d love to know if this is you, or are you more or less???

How can you celebrate International Kissing Day?
Well I’m hoping this is pretty simple…with a kiss of course. Show people how much they mean to you and make their heart smile in the following simple ways...

  • Say good morning to husband with a kiss.
  • Kiss your kids goodbye in the morning as they head of to school or daycare.
  • Greet you friends with a kiss on the cheek.
  • Say goodnight to your hubby, kids and pets with a kiss.
  • And for those that are a little more reserved, try blowing a kiss…it carries just as much love!

There’s a million different ways to deliver a kiss to those you care about, and they don’t all have to be romantic! So on International Kissing Day, pucker up every chance you get! Just remember the breath mints.
